Irish soprano Emma Harper grew up in Belfast but left Ireland on a choral scholarship to attend St Catharine’s College, Cambridge where she recorded as a soloist with both her college choir and the University Chamber Choir.
In 2006 Emma completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Performance at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and won the Academy's Margaret Dick Prize for Singing. She finished her Masters in Performance at the RSAMD last year. Emma is one of the young artists on the Live Music Now! scheme (see www.livemusicnow.org) set up by Yehudi Menuhin.
